My blazer won't be there either unless I hit the Loto between now and then /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif. Made the hotel reservations last Fri @ the Merriot, not sure what exit # but it's the one with the Hooters, Cracker Barrel, and Outback. There's going to be about 12 of us from Lowcountry Swampers there. Hope to meet some fellow CK5ers. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I will be there, registered months ago. I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow k5'ers also.
we'll be in a black 84 k5, soft top,39.5's,12" lift & a 3rd seat thrown in backwards for extra passengers....so keep an eye out for us.

ive never been to anything like this, i keep seeing register, is that to simply get in, or to enter your truck in a competition/show?

I believe that the registration is for show/comp only. You can get your general admission tickets at the gate.

trollporter is right registration is just for the show/competition.the past few years I've been there are alot of normal everyday 4x4's just hanging out. My k5 is not a show queen & it's not a outrageos rock crawler ( I still have the original 305 & 1/2 ton axels )All I plan on doing is just hanging out with all the trucks.Plus with a family of 5 it's alot cheaper for the 43.00 registration fee,& you can bring your own food/drinks in. I hope to meet some of ya'll.

Does anyone know how many people you can have per truck if you register for the show? I'm thinking about doing what big k5 is doing. Can you come and go as you please with your truck? I't would be great to have somewhere to sit at because it's going to be HOT as a mofo.

this is straight from my confirmation letter:
participant entry fee includes: 2 wristbands one for you & one for your passenger,a window sticker for your vehicle,a dash plaque & a goodie bag.your entry also covers any children 15 years old and younger that ride in your vehicle into the show.

Well nobody has posted in a while is everyone still planing on going ? Right now I only plan on coming over on saturday,but that may change?? Ya'll keep an eye out for me because I would really like to meet some fellow ck5'ers. Actually know the person I may be talking to on line.

i cant go, a bunch of friends and i are planning a weeklong surf trip to the outer banks, and either i do that, or go to anderson. can you say weeklong party?

I think I remember what that was like way back when ????? I can't blame you, have a good time & maybe we'll see you next year.
