is a [darn] as far as I'm concered. Bought Skyjacker 6" lift springs from him a while back(year or almost 2 now). I receieved one spring. He claimed Fed Ex lost the other one, I never recieved a shipping manifest so I don't know if he was lying or not. He claimed to be fighting with Fed Ex over insurance and blah blah blah, after many PMs back and forth he disappeared never to be heard from again, that was over a year ago now. Basically if he ever shows his head again I say stay the [darn] away from him.

That's too bad. I do know Tim was going through some personal issues. Hope he comes back and makes it right. I bought my lift from him, he even drove a couple hundred miles to delivered it to my door. Last info I had on him was [ QUOTE ]

he informed me he was having personal issues. I was MORE than patient, I sat around while he claimed to be doing stuff about it for 6 months then he just disappeared on me.

I never got screwed over by him but several times he would contact me about something I had for sale and ask all kinds of questions which I would spend time getting the info he needed and then nothing. On one particular occassion he had a truck for sale, I called him on it and he had changed his mind. What finally ended the BS was he had contacted me about something for sale and I finally just said do you really want it or are you just wasting my time. He didn't like that at all to say the least. Said I was calling him a poser. Well if the shoe fits put the damn thing on. Master of yanking the carpet out form under you here. I thought quite a while before posting this about him. I hope you guys get your stuff or get paid back or something.

About 9 months ago when I was looking to buy some 4.56's for my 14 bolt, I had made a post in the garage asking about which types of gears would be best. He PM'd me saying he could get me the gears I wanted at a better price than anyone could offer. He seemed to be running a 4x4 business or online business at that time and gave me excellent quotes on the gears. something seemed fishy to me and after numerous unanswered PM's, I decided to just buy them from 4WPW.

Was he looking to rip me off? I dunno, but the lack of communication and weird interest about my needs led me to believe that he was up to something.

Anyways, just wanted to share that. Take it for what its worth.

Wow.
I made a post in this forum listing all those I have dealt with and had positive feedback for. I also stated that there was a select few that I will never deal with AND choose not to list those...due to the fact that there were no losses on either end.

This is exactly what he did to me. He bugged and bugged me about a 4.56 gear set I had and even told me that he was sure he wanted them and gave me his address. I boxed them up, attached his mailing address and gave him an exact total with shipping. Then nothing. After a few months and numerous PM's, I gave up and traded them off.

I keep a Word document of all of the dealings I have.
This is part of it:

Yeah, I hear you. I wrestled with replying about this one for a while for that very reason. Then I got to thinking. Some folks will ask you a question about an item you are selling and you say, "it's the other kind." They say, "sorry, not the one I need." Well, that is totally understandable. NO sale. But when somebody dinks you around for a week on a couple different items and when it's all said and done and agrees to buy them and then just never does anything you sit there wondering what the hell is going on. I don't know if he thought I would just send them out on faith or what. Glad I didn't cause he was a flake. Like I said to somebody else just the other day I take my buyer seller responsibilites very seriously and nothing makes me happier than to sell something and the customer be excited about the deal. Apparently this asshat doesn't feel that way.

I also understand and have no problem with somebody saying, "I get paid next week can you wait?" Heck ya I can wait. But this guy would say the money order will go out tomorrow and then never actually send it. I hate that.

I sold some stuff to Tim and the deal went very well. We also exchanged many PM's about running a 4x4 parts business (we were both doing ours about the same time). Then his life fell apart. I guess he went through a very, very ugly divorce and he lost everything. There is a post on here somewhere about it. I'm not condoning his actions at all or anything. I just believe he said "screw it". Too bad too. Reminds me of the Echobit thing but not nearly as bad.
