CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

Anyone near westbury NY? I may be buying a boat engine and need some part off of it. if shipping is too much I"m thinking of having someone pick it up and ship me the parts I need off it and you can sell the long block, and split the profit w/ me. so any takers?

What type of boat engine are you talking about here?

it's a ford 460
for the most part it's the same as a truck other than the center two freeze plugs. and the cam is a little different
I just need the distributer, starter and coupler off it, plus I'll take the rest of the marine junk attached
that leaves a 460 that needs rebuilt intake to oilpan, engine has 250 hrs on it but it's froze up due to water getting in it.

anyone interested in this deal? this guy has offered to pull off what I need and scrap the rest but a 460 that only had 250 hrs on it I hate to see just scrapped.
