Here's the deal I have a 96 C-10 (2WD) with that stupid looking low front end. I want to lift it about 2-2.5" to level out the truck but want it to keep the factory ride and allinment. Was trying to find lift spindles but haven't had any luck.

Have seen ads in 4 wheel and off road. Believe they also did an article sometime back on lifting 2 wheel drives. I will see if I can find an ad and post name of company.

DMK is right. Just go pick up the latest issue of FourWheeler or call a local 4x4 shop. Lifting a 2wd is usually called "prerunner lift". Kinda like the desert racers.Talk about flex:) Imagine having a lifted 4x2 with no hp robbing front axle:) I think some new Toyota 4x2 are like this AND have some kind of switch to "lock" the rear end. I think FourWheeler tested one of these out recently. They said it did VERY well.

Yeah thats pretty much what I'm looking for but most of the one's I've found cost six hundred plus heck thats more than my Blazers lift was. I have LT235-75 R15's right now so I just need a moderate lift. I did find one from Pro Comp that has 3" spindles for the front and an ad-a-leaf for the rear but that's $700, guess I better start saving. Oh a rear ARB locker is in the back of my mind also to show the Toyota prerunner boys a thing or two.

Those lifts aren't cheap because you have to replace some rather expensive parts. http://www.coloradok5.com/forums/images/icons/frown.gif A lot of the cash is paying for those dropped spindles. There's also usually either custom a-arms or ball joint spacers to keep the front end aligned and able to move through it's full range of motion. I think Fab Tech is another company that sells these kits.
