I realize that im supposed to be saving for a new blazer, but I always have my eyes open, and theres one of these for sale near me. Been for sale for a while i might try to find out what hes asking and maybe i can pick it up really cheap.

69 buick sylark, they only came with a 350, but they still hustled. the one for sale is definately a standard skylark, not a gs (bummer) i think it would be sweet to kinda satisfy my muscle car craving. (and i know a few guys with 455's for sale.......)

The one im looking at is darker, more of a maroon color, pretty much a stocker, but in nice condition. he also has a skylark wagon for sale too. (same year)

Very nice! I'd go for the Skylark wagon! Of course, I've already got a muscle car in ym garage so I have to satisfy my Muscle wagon appetite now! I want an old wagon that I can drop a 455 in and have the ultimate sleeper!

Yeah the wagon would be cool, but I've been driving wagons since i was 16. im tired of them. I want something that is just in good condition, runs well and looks pretty clean. I dont need the fastest shiniest or loudest, just an all around good performer. I also like the fact that its a little different than everyone else who drives a chevelle or camaro.

Skylarks are pretty cool. There are a few really cool B-O-P A-bodies floating around here. Lots of GTOs, a few Lemans', a couple of GS', a GSX, a couple of 4-4-2s, and some Cuttlass S'. I personally prefer something a little smaller as a performance car (F-bodies) and a little to a LOT larger for a luxury machine (Grand Prix SJ or Cadillac de Ville), but the A-bodies are what started it all.
Oh, and there's a Chevelle or Camaro on just about every street corner. I guess my tastes run just a little "different" too!
