Tempting , but I love my girl too much to trade her . So you just want mileage ? Buy a 700r4 and np208 , or just drop the axle gearing a bit , I know where some 3.08 axles are for trade for 4.10 or better :whistle:

It may be to late, but if you still have your rig just put the 700r4 (87or newer) and 208 in it. All you need is a new cross member which can still be purchased from the dealership, driveshaft change, and the setup for the lockup. Why give up a fully convertible ride for a half shell. The swap is not that bad. I did it in my 75.
