$350.00 for the bumper alone, which includes brackets and side supports for the brackets. We will continue to develop more brackets for other vehicles.

$25.00 additional for reciever tube. Like you see it in the pictures or flush mounted for clearance its up to you. NOTE: flush mount will put the hitch pin behind the tube.

Spare tire carrier pricing to come.

Flush mount light kit pricing to come.

these ship truck freight of course and don't have much for estimates at this time but I will update this post as I get them.

This is the prototype done up for one of my customers. These will be added to the website once pricing is completed. Pictures

Actually it is 99.9% complete and I hit the deadline. I had lots of other things I would like to have done. Some flush mount lights will be added as an option and I think the Jeri can mount will be changed a bit.

The spare tire carrier is set up to be welded in place by the customer for optimum spacing off the tubes.

What ya think?

Looks cool! Is it available without the tire carrier? Will it fit trucks or K5's or both? How thick are the shackle/clevis tabs?

Nice work once again.

I looked on your site for some clevis tabs :dunno: Are you going to produce those as well. How much for a pair?

the shackle clevis are 3/8" thick. It will be available without the tire carrier. Without the reciever hitch and without the jeri can holder. Really any form you want it.

Those particular clevis tabs are the same piece of steel that is the brackets. They go all the way through. Shoot me a pm and we can easily work up some clevis tabs for you.

Gotta run!

A 44" tire should actually fit. 2000 lbs. spindle is the pivot so weight sholdn't be a prob.

cybrfire
05-10-2005, 07:27 PM
This one weighed right at 140 lbs. Its a heavier model than what will be sold. 1/4" thick tube as opposed to 3/16".

Looks awesome, BEEFY. You've done it again. Can't wait to see it installed and find out how much $$ I'll need to save. How about a pic of the backside with the brackets going through? A Hi-Lift jack mount option? Any plans for a matching front winch bumper?

There's the brackets. A hi lift mount will be in the works and definitely a front winch bumper.

Any interest in a air tank/bumper??

Damn man, I may as well just sign my whole paycheck over to you :D

Gotta discuss w/ the wife but I like the looks of that rear bumper a LOT.... and would be interested in a matching winch (Warn 8274) ready front bumper :xmas:

Do you have any measurements? The height in particular. It's kind of hard to judge the size since its not mounted to a truck in the pics.

cybrfire

the center is 8". I'll try and get some pics posted of it mounted soon.

Kert, Have you thought about adding some side armor?

Wow, looks really nice. Don't know how I overlooked this thread in the first place. You might just receive a couple of my paychecks this summer. Do you have any pictures of a front bumper counterpart or the rear bumper installed?

Sorry guys for it taking me so long to respond to this thread again. Been pretty swamped lately.

Plans for the front bumper counter part are in the works. Winch ready but to be honest it will be a while.

Side armor for the rear is going to be an add on sort of thing. Similar to the other options.

Thanks for all the interest and once again sorry for the response delay.

Oldie but goodie thread.
Will you sell the swing out tire mount by itself. I have a similar bumper that a buddy and I made, and I would love to put that carrier on it.

cybrfire
08-29-2005, 06:51 AM
Yep, It's a touch more than if you were buying it with the bumper. Kinda discounted as a part of the package.

Tire carrier alone and assuming you want the spindle and all would run ya $150.00 plus the ride.

Hey i was looking at the pics my Grand-dad sent me and when i looked at your pic on here i saw that it had like a sleeve for the receiver hitch, on mine the hole for it is there but it doesnt protruded like the one in your pic down there. Does that mean i forgot to tell you to put one on, or is it new styling? Just wondering, great loking bumper though, having it powder coated as soon as i get home! Thanks again Kert

You got new styling on yours. A few people had requested it be done flush mounted so that is how they all are now.

One more question. How thick is that bumper? The bumper on my truck is 2" thick 1/4" plate. Trying to figure out if your spare carrier will work for me.

The bumper tube itself is 3" thick or 3" from face to face.

Styling has changed from the picture. The reciever tube is flush now, the Jeri can holder is all together different and heavier duty. There is a light kit now available as well as a high lift mount and reciever tube license plate holder.

PM me and we can go into more detail.

Shipping is via Forward Air so I need to get a hold of them and get a quote to go close to that zip as possible. Need your city also!!

Would your tire carrier work in a bumper that was 2" face to face?

cybrfire

It'd be deathly close to the body. Hard to say without trying it. More depends on if you can put the spindle outside the body corner.

Kert, I've seen all the prices on your website, except for the receiver mounted plate holder and does it have a light/wiring mounted for the plate? Also, do you have a picture of the bumper w/ the hi-lift mount? Although you changed the styling can I still get one w/ the receiver extended from the bumper? What's your lead time? I'm going to give you a call tomorrow. There's a forward air in my area.
Thanks,
Jim

One last question does the factory hitch have to be removed?

One last question does the factory hitch have to be removed?

I haven't done a plate mount with a light but can easily.
I have a pic of the bumper with the hi lift. I'll get it up on the website.
Yep, reciever tube either way you want it.
3-4 weeks on rear bumpers right now.

Call the shop number anytime. I'm there nearly round the clock these days.

Are these air tight and is the interior of it open all the way through or blocked off?
I want to run an on board air system using the rear bumper as an air tank.
Also, can it be made to tuck up 2" to cover my body lift gap?

I really like this bumper but I've got some newbie questions. How does it mount? Would say it's equivlent to a class3 hitch? What type of finishes do you offer? Powdercoating or the likes?

I'm thinking about getting one but my truck tows a boat often and looks are important to me.

It uses all the factory bolt holes. It'll hold what your frame will hold. I don't finish the bumpers.
