Has anyone every installed a tow hitch on a m1009?.Imtrying but seems like you have to remove a couple brackets off the back.Also Ive never pulled with a 6.2 how do they hold up?I have 35 tires but 4.56 gears with a th400 thanks.

I just bought one that has the pintle on it, but also has some bolts hanging down that look suspiciously like it had a receiver on it. (The Army gave it to a local PD, so I've been busy un-fscking the weird things the PD did to it :) )

I would imagine you should be able to get a Blazer hitch on there -- it is, after all, just a Blazer -- though the rear shackle mounts may need moving or something. If you don't find out in a week or two, I'll may be putting one on mine, and I'll find out for sure :D

Did you buy the truck from a guy in berkley?If so Its the same guy i bought from he buys from SF shierffs office.And i found out mine only had 40k orig miles not 140

You know they make pintle hooks with the ball on it dont you?

Yeah i have seen those but i have a 25ft toybox and need a heavy duty hitch
