Pricing!!
$345.00 pair. Will we be compiling a list of orders again like we did with the shackle flip and switch. For the next week or so we will be building fixtures for these and then proving the fixtures so it will be a couple weeks before the first sets start shipping out. So, if your interested in a set get your order in quick. Had a ton of emails on these already and I hope I can keep up!

Went at it pretty hard today but it still seems like I can't get anything done. Or maybe just not as much as I wanted too.

Nice work. I like the upper bar and future hinge cover too, I think it just looks better (which was why i did mine that way)

I picked up a few styling cues from yours.(top tube) I don't know if I seen the hinge covers on yours or somebody elses. It does look better though. Having the hinges exposed, Just a little to utility.
Just went and looked through a bunch of your posts (You post alot  ) till I found a pic of your tube doors. I have something a little different in mind for the hinge cover.

Thanks man! So are ya going in July?? enquiring minds want to know. Considering driving. Could make a little more of the trip. Uncle is thinking about it. Could stop at a few places along the way. United Airlines doesn't like stopping off here and there. :D

I really want to, just not sure about the $$ thing yet.....I'd be more apt to go if we drove but don't do it on my account. Probably cheaper if there were 4 driving too. If I can get one or two of these trucks ripped apart this weekend I'll have a better idea. Plus the load of scrap steel that is collecting rust :D [hyjackoff]
Nice job on the doors!! You can put me down for a set in the future for sure :thumb:

I'm starting to lean more toward driving. Sounds like a hell of a road trip. Maybe if I'm real nice I can swipe my wife's van. Good mileage. Good AC and some decent cargo capacities. It'd definitely be cheaper.
Let me know when you want some tube doors. You have to drive your truck up for the install though. (incentive to burn the midnight oil)

I don't own one but i have a friend local that might be persuaded to let me use it for design purposes. Definite possibility.

I would definitely be interested in a set of tube doors for my 70 K5. I like the hinge cover plate- it deals with one of the uglier aspects of yanking the doors off of our trucks. If you fab these it'll save me doing something drastic with repro outer doorskins and a bunch of tubing... count me in.

Kert, Ofcourse I could bend myown doors but I think you have made the perfect looking bad ass doors for a GM full size so I WILL be getting some as soon as funding allows. You have done all the engineering so I wont waste my time trying to copy them. Its not worth my time. Awesome doors man.

Thanks again! We just made another really small but worth while improvement to them as well. Ours have always been shipped with new striker pins specific to our doors. We found a better way to make them and stronger to boot! No price change, just better.

Ship in bare steel.
Haven't done them for the 88 up as of yet but we do have the newer truck for mock up. Need to find some time to get it done!
