Who wants to go?

Lets get a crowd of atleast 10 to 15 together for a trip in the coming months. I'm open any weekend after July. Post up with the month and days that you definately can make it. We'll take those dates and which ever the most can be there is the one we'll go with. I'll buy the first 10 people from this site who show, a one day park pass. :D

For those that have never been its a good place to go spend the day. You don't have to be built, stock and 33s will do alot there.

I'm itching to do some wheeling and if something doesn't happen soon I'm afraid I'm going to tear down the rig until next spring. I've got some major mods I want to do but I'd hate to miss out on a trail gathering.

This post is for Sapper, sorry I messed up your last one.

Im in for a ride sometime. I will be heading up to appalachian on august 15th or 16th, but I think I can make a weekend trip home to wheel with you all. Set a date and I will try my hardest to make it. I can wheel it harder now since I have a mercedes benz diesel as my dd now. Hell, I havent even taken the tools or spare parts out of the blazer from the last trip I made up there. Havent bothered to put the speakers or back seat in either. :doah:

Im good with the 8th because im going to be home from school then. But it doesnt look like Paul is good for that date. I may be able to make it the 15th if you go, but im not sure yet. Gas driving back from boone, then fourwheeling the truck, then driving back is quite expensive.

James sound good to you?

Good to me. I get off the boat on the 6th so anytime after that I am good with. Paul just head over to the house, engine hoist is on the back porch, and yes it picks up axles. Remember getting the 14 bolt out of the back of the Jeep. Joy shouldn't give you any problems about getting it.

It worked great, there were only the two of us so I picked it up. we had both axles in the truck in 20 minutes without sweating  I need to keep it here untill this weekend, the rest of the truck will be picked up by flatbed and i think it the best way to keep the back from dicking up my concrete :wink1:

A stock white K5, seen that before, may another "SS" on our hands, I am planning to pull out of here friday night, but with James coming may do another 4 in the morning pull up there and start wheeling before Daniels parking lot gets packed. Lets say 9 am at the outpost ready to go?
This is me

Come on down. If I can't get my rig running right I may have to bring out the stock 87 on 33s. I've got to figure something out quick because if I bring the 87 I've got to change a motor mount, pull tranny and replace broken flexplate, and put a new alt. on. May also need to pack a tow strap for this all open 3.08 10bolted beast. Yeah if I make it I'll be at the elderado outpost at 9:00.

I was planning on going to Hatteras that weekend, but most of my friends bailed on the trip, so I might just forget about going that weekend all together. If y'all don't mind dragging a stock Yukon around (hey, I did it last year, but that was last year) or have got an open seat, I might make the trip up there for Saturday.

Well, I've fixed the 87 but the rig is still sick. I think I'm gonna change the fuel pump. Thats all that is left, I'm out of money to throw at this thing. I'm doing my best to get there one way or another.

Looks like im not gonna be able to make it this weekend either. I just started my job, and I have to work Saturday and Sunday. But Elliott is moving in to his new house in 2 weeks, so we are both gonna be making extensive modifications to our blazers. My modifications include tube doors, no tailgate, no top, roll cage, maybe some homemade bumpers, and as much weight reducation as I can do. Elliotts include a shackle flip in the rear, 56's up front, and some 37-38" tires. We hope to be done by next summer somtime, and will be able to wheel hard.
