I've got a 96 F350 4x4. I need to swap out the rotors as I have ine with 3 cracks all the way through. I am getting conflicting requirements for the hub wrench that I need. I thought it was the 6 prong D60 wremnch and have also been told it was the 4 prong version.

Anybody know?

And no, I haven't pulled it yet.

Also, since I have never actually done one of these alone before, how do I judge tightening when I am reassembling it? (bearings, etc)

My 60 has the 4 prong and my 14boltff has the 6 prong.

I know what the Chevy D60 uses. However, it is my understanding that the Ford one is different.

BTW, it's manual hubs.

My 60 has the 4 prong and my 14boltff has the 6 prong.

Mine was the same until I put Dana 60 nuts and washers on my 14FF. Now I only need 1 socket for both of mine:D .

I lucked out and found a socket that has both on it. I wish I could remember where I got it from though.
