if it stops raining Ill shoot some pics of mine for you and give the the exact costs to build it... 50 x 60 x 26
2 10 x 10 roll ups
1 20 x 20 rollup
3 man doors ( matching the home.. so they were spendy)
2 foot eves ( they were spendy but it makes the building look nice and water doesnt drip down the side of the building)
4 4'0" double glazed windows
skylight material under the eves
4 inch poly crete slab
2 36" endwall fans
Pre plumbed for solar... can you imagine how many panels could sit on a roof that size???
it was 52k out the door
I did all the wiring..put in 400 amps of power.. outlets every 10 feet down the walls.. and multiple 220v runs for welders etc... that came to about 3k in materials
I had some new ocean going cargo containers... the county said I couldnt keep them (bastards) unless I made them permanent under a building.. so I did.. made footings and chained them down.. put them under a 24 x 24 structure ( $7500.... containers were new.. 2200 ea)... this would be a nice quicky inexpensive shop with good lockable space... my friend did the same thing using new 40 footers,, about twice for the structure but the oddball containers in longer lengths are about 3500 each... he put a whole machine shop in one of his... LOTS OF ROOM... under the center open part he parks his vehicles
I spent a couple of hundred bucks and wired mine with lights and plugs... I use them as overflow storage now... when I first moved here and was living in a travel trailer while building I had one setup as my shop and the other one holding construction materials... all plugged in to a generator before I had power... it made a hard move to vacant land bearable

main shop and storage building pics
Its a large area and gets cold in the winter but is dry!!!! and its hot in the summer ..but shaded!!!!
I have ridge vents and roof insulation that REALLY REALLY helps
When we sell this place and move we are going to build a larger building.. steel.. different design and fully insulate that one... money had to stop somewhere on this job
