Just wondering who all is going?
When are y'all planning on getting there?
Are we all going to go as one big group saturday?
What time are we going to hit the trail?

Just thought I'd ask, so it doesn't turn out like last time...

The wife and I will be there if I have to push the truck all the way there. We have Bunky #2 at Crawfords reserved. I am planning to be there before dark Friday night (unless I need to push the truck.)

I will be there with my 6 yr old co pilot, A buddy and his wife are going as well( guy with the huge S10) We are leaving on thursday, get up there, setup camp before supper time. Got a site with water and elec. reserved. Pitchin tents! Probably gonna do some trails on friday but nothing to rough, probably hit #4 to 7 do the ledge on peckerwood and come back out #8(short side) back to 4 then back to camp. He has never been there and we did not get to do a test run on his rig yet.(fingers crossed!!)

Probably be good for us to plan out the trail run for saturday friday evening when everyone gets settled in.

I designate Steve for photo/video duty!!:D

I'll be driving up Friday afternoon. Crawfords about 9:00 or 10:00 AM Saturday sounds good to me. It's maybe 45 minute drive there from Andrews, where I'm staying. Y'all staying at the cabins, ya gonna have a bonfire/cookout Saturday evening?

I use my CB for traffic reports, so I'll be on channel 19 on the way up, call sign/handle "dontoe".

PM your cell numbers.

Out of work a week with food posioning has left me short on funds, so I'll charter the aircraft next time.

Damn. I wish I could make it. I am just scared of what my lead foot and new motor would do to the rear 10 bolt. Its already going and that would definitely finish it off. Wouldnt bother me too much but I would need a tow back and the Mazda6 isnt up to it lol.

Well I may have screwed up. I was switching out the Battery isolator in my truck for a Painless Dual Battery controller. I got to the part where I needed to mount the switch in the dash. I had the drivers seat out of the truck so it was easy to get under the dash. When I got in there I saw the rats nest of wires for the POs. There was an Viper Alarm, Remote door locks, Stereo, and two-way radio in the truck at one time. Well I got the bright idea, that some of this wire could go away. Well I may have removed something that I needed....:doah:

I downloaded a copy of the Vioper install guide to start sorting out the wiring. If I can not figure this out soon I may be the CK5 guy at Tellico in the wifes Wrangler :eek1:.

i havent made up my mind, my rig still runs like crap without a custom chip but sent all my data to TBIchips so maybe it will be here by then.
but trying to talk TONEYD19 into taking his rig and just ride along with him and shell out some gas money. :D

When are y'all going to arive? I know Clay is going thursday, and John is going friday. I just thought it would be cool if we could convoy along I-40 for those coming from the east side of tellico:D

I just got off of the phone with CB and was talking about maybe linking up with you just north of Spartanburg. I will call John and see what time he wants to leave and estimate a time to link up. I was thinking maybe off the interstate at a rest stop somewhere.

If y'all are coming over on I-40, we can meet in Ashville, or if you come up I-26 I can meet you at any of the spartanburg exits. Really it doesn't matter to me. If by chance I get the 72 together in time to take it, I'll be pulling it with a gasser, so y'all might have to wait for me on the hills:D

What's y'alls ETA for the I-26, I-40 interchange?

Not too sure yet. Not sure what time CB and John will be ready to leave that morning. All they will have to do is kick me once or twice and I'll be ready to go.

I would say around lunch time. Its 1 hr from my house, but I think its about 3 from Johns.

We should be in Ashville around 12:00. It took me atleast 6 hours last time to get to Crawfords. I'm shooting for leaving here around 7:30/8:00 and meeting up with CB around 8:30 so we should be on the road good around 9:00. We'll prob have to stop in lancaster for some breakfast. Then again around Noon for lunch, hopefully we'll be in Ashville or on the other side by then.

Mmmmm, good eats too:D

And I know...........Get to work:rolleyes: :doah:

Yeah, we aren't gonna eat though, seeing as it's only 1.5 hours from the house, and with the wife, two kids and I, it would be a couple of dollars we need other places. Y'all can, certainly........we'll try to time our ETA to y'all finishing up. :wink1:

John's tentative ETA was High-noon, I suppose I'll shoot for that or 1:00 if y'all wanna eat lunch there.

Oh, Steve........................:haha:

OK, my ETA on the Cracker Barrel .............is 12:00..........High-noon........I might wander down Patton Avenue some if no one is there yet, if I do I'll be on Channel 19. I use 19 on the Highway to listen for traffic problems.:D
