Well, I got the truck started and its running pretty strong. I even have working lights and gauges, I think. The last two tires are going to Wal-mart to be mounted and balanced in the morning. The rear disc brakes seem to be working. I still have some wiring to finish, need to install the front seats, and try to fix the stupid KMA multi-carrier but it looks like we will have a truck to take to Tellico.

On a slightly different note, what do I absolutely have to have of Tellico? All I really have is the Blazer, a cheap tow strap, two jerry cans (gas and water), and a few basic tools. The truck does have rear shackles, a winch, and a spare tire. I am just about tapped on cash for right now. I have spent too much money in the last six weeks trying to get ready. Other than a cooler, what do I have to get?

Thanks,

Keeping my fingers crossed for the test drive Thursday night.

Make sure the gas can is spill proof and securely mounted!!!
I carry spare fluids, not much cash there. I needed to get some some spare belts and hoses, but I ran short on cash myself!

I wish I was that far along. You might want to bring some sandwich fixings for lunch saturday.

I have a case of water and snacks that are going. On a side note, I live just east of Knoxville. I will not be leaving till about 4:30pm on Friday. Steve has my work and home numbers so he can call me if any thing is needed or forgotten by the group.

I think we all should be good as far as tools, spares etc. being as we have similar rigs and the number of us going. You should be good, I would just worry about food, drinks etc for the trails.
