Right back where I started from....

It's an 85 350/465/208 with 10b's and P.O. said 2.73's :eek1: Speedo is way off, no way to really tell untill I pull the covers.

And good lord I need to hurry and fix the a/c. Hot as hell on the way home. Plus no radio. :doah:

All I can say is that I love my wife.

Not tear it apart until it gets colder and make sure that the thing is driveable instead of ripping it all apart.

I'd love to swap in a hotter cam/intake/holley truck avenger in the next few weeks, swap the chevy 208 for a dodge 208 (lots of work I know), and then throw on a lift, my 1-tons and my 42's.

But first I'm going to try and figure out why it likes to run around 210 around town and 220 on the highway. Gonna start with an 180 degree thermostat. Then I'm gonna figure out what's wrong with the a/c. Maybe attach the shifter boot to the floor, Remove all of the P.O.'s wiring for stereo crap. And make sure that everything works.

Yeah, except its hot as hell. Only get half of the crap I wanted to do today. The seats from my old K5 don't bolt in, so I have to do some drilling and stuff, swapped the t-stat, now it leaks, Should've ditched the o-ring and installed a new gasket...and I wasn't even drinking.

Make it a wheeler. Swap in my suspension, 1 tons, and 42's on h1's.

Get everything working right and enjoy it.

Does it have a hydro clutch? Are you going to put fuel injection on it?

It does have a hydro clutch. No fuel injection, be a carb for a while while I formulate a plan to inject it.

Propane:D

I don't think I want to try propane. My way of thinking is propane for trail only rigs, and gas for trail/street rigs. Plus I don't want to haul around 60 gallons of propane...or try to find a filling station in the middle of BFE :D
