How many of the southeast guys are thinking about this?

http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=175243&page=20

I've got family about 1 1/2hrs away, so I can drop off the wife and kids there. If 30 plus trucks show up I'm really gonna hate to miss this, being its only about 10 hours away. I wasn't impressed with the pictures and prices from the site, but hey good company will make up for most of that.

Long time off. I plan on going, but it's so far off that it's way back on my lists. Of course I'll convoy with ya when I go. I want to get a car hauler next spring. Thinking of renting a U-haul truck/van or something to tow my truck on my car hauler to long distance places like that.

If I were to be here, I would more than likely go. Just doubt I will be around then.

That's 3 weeks before my RETIREMENT terminal leave, I've got the tow rig and hauler hooked up (through my uncle) I am going to be there.

Hey aint Gray rock in AL somewhere.

Yeah, Gray Rock is around Birmingham and there is a new one called (I think) Morris Mountain around Anniston (an hour or so east of Birmingham).

I really want to get to Windrock or Tellico at some point, they look like lots of fun. I'm hoping to catch one of them next summer, Maybe we could do another East Coast BB in Tellico again?

I am 3 hours from harlan,2.5 from windrock, and 4 from tellico,so it really doesnt matter to me.The only downside to Windrock(for me)is the $20 per person per day fee's.It would cost me $120 to ride all weekend if the whole gang went, not counting gas, food, broken parts, ect. We were in Harlan for the PBB camp and crawl last weekend and I think I like it the best.

Heck, I'd been in for any of them in that area. I should have my K5 finished by spring so I'll be looking for some place to try it out. :woot:

We were talking about June sometime, not sure if ti will pan out that way or not. I want to have my rig ready for this one and I leave in July headed back to the sandbox.

I had planned on going to the last one,but the date just didnt work out for me.June would be good since it wont be so hot,we camped all weekend last week at harlan and about died from the heat.

Damn dude, that sucks... :(

How was last years ECBB? I can't remember, how many show'd up? Was Tellico a good place?

Sorry for the complete hijack John :doah: :D

Last years ecbb was ok, but not well planned. I think there were 8+ ck5ers but we didn't get on the trail together. This past trip was much better with 6 rigs all going together.

I really figured more people showed up, any ideas as to why? Not enough promotion or something else? Maybe we can do better next time.

This year we had six rigs, and ten members show. Which is great, in that members showed up for the comradeship and to help spot, repair, film, photograph and support the CK5 get-together, even if their trucks weren't ready.

I think last years would have been better if someone who were closer to Tellico had planned it and we had more support. This years wasn't really a Blazer Bash until we got there. It was more or less the annual run to Tellico but we all did have a good time, even though some of us had no rigs there..... Next year mine will make a debut, hopefully. As long as the wife still loves me after the first of the year parts buying spree....

I think if we start planning now, maybe arrange a few sponsores for a give away or something, it will be better. The board has quite a few more vendors who I am sure will support us with a raffle giveaway and such. Plus most of us have made a trip up there and know what is to be expected, like bring spare tail lights and crossmembers, and eat your wheaties because you never know when someone is going to floor it to get over an obstacle....(sorry Donald, couldn't help it).
