My buddy Kris (5-0) drug a rock down the bottom side of his driver's side rocker panel, from front to rear on Falls Dam. Amazingly, he wasn't pissed about it.

It's more like multiple trees on Falls Dam and Dickey Bell.
It still hurts me to see that picture of Chad's 'Burb.

I would have liked to try the boggers in the mud, but my family was more than ready to leave because of the rain.

Oh it was a blast! I attempted to tow an S-10 Blazer up Dutch John (not Kris'), but it was so wet and my tires are sooooo slick that it wasn't going to happen.
I'm ready for the next trip!
*edit: I'm not worried about body damage. I like it!

Yeah, he finally showed. He claimed that my way of going to URE takes about an hour and a half longer than his way....

I love the k-5/truck. Got any close-up pics of your rear cab crossmember? I just wanna compare it to mine.

I also used a pickup cab crossmember, but your's looks a helluva lot better than my hack-job. For what I'm doing with it, it's ok (I still don't like it), but if it had street duties, it would definitely have to change.
If you look closely, you can kinda see what I did. The rear crossmember "tabs" (where the rivets are) are welded directly to the frame. I then used some scrap angle I had laying around and "triangulated" the forward portion of the crossmember to the body mount on the chassis.

I also actually got one action picture of me on Falls Dam. Here's my failed attempt at scaling the wall out of the mud hole.
Hate to have missed more carnage, but we decided to beat it before the rain got us good.
