looks good gabe. I'm prob just stupid but whats the deal/advantages with the eaton rear?

On the eaton, it came stock with a detroit and 456s... the housing is stronger slightly but the big advantage comes when you shave them and or build a 4 link... you can weld directly to the housing... as far as the shave goes you can get the same clearance as a dana 44 or ten bolt... other than that It is pretty much a 14 bolt... you can actually swap out the side gears and run 14 bolt everything.
