Stepped on a nail friday at 4:45, had to go the Urgent Care to get a tetnis shot, they looked at the puncture wound, and started digging...

Needless to say, all I've done this weekend has been to sit on my butt with my foot proped up.

OUCH! man I did that a few years back, walking across some boards at a house we were building. I stepped on a fresh nail that was sticking up 2 inches in a 2x10, and took a few more steps, then foot started hurting. It was cold, in the 20's I took my boot off and dang if it almost poked thru the top of my foot. Nice big hole, but hardly any bleeding. My foot was black and blue and swole for over a week, and dang did it hurt!

Been there done that a few times. No fun at all Try being on a roof and step on one, like the old style squarehead nails. Now that can get intresting :eek1:

I was on a flat roof, tearing off 1 membrane and 2 layers of tar/gravel. I'm not sure why, but it was sticking point up about 4" out of the concrete deck.

It's still sore, sore enough I can't put any weight on it. It went in the ball of my rt foot, about 1/2"+
