Well you all know the rest of the story.

What started out as a simple install of an aftermarket heater has turnied its tide and turned in to an ugly little monster. Man, what do I get myself into sometimes.

Thats what I told the wife last weekend when I started putting in the heater. One thing led to another than bam. I tear the column down and fix it and then realize the housing is screwed so I tore it out today. While pulling the column I noticed a RATS NEST of wiring and well going to tackle that tomorrow after I put the column back in. Going to be driving it with no dash for a few days or so so I can fabricate/modify things for underneath the dash board.

Did you at least get the heater hooked up and working?

Nope...........

I need to have a plate/box fabbed for the firewall and then plumb it in with the motor still. Wiring it in shouldn't be that hard either but need to have a plate made to fit the switch where the ld heat/ac panel was. I dropped some templates off with Stephen last week, just waiting on them now.

Well the windshield has NUMEROUS chips in it so it isn't good. Thats the next thing on the list of many.

It is put back togethre for now but still with no heat. I guess I will tackle that monster sometime next weekend when I have a little bit of time on my hands.

That new column in there is nice, and I still have tilt......
