Looking for a rubber rear cargo mat for the 76 Blazer. I've Line-X'ed the entire interior. I just ordered up some PlastiColor Chevy Blazer front rubber mats but I need to do the whole back interior. I've seen vinyl ones but I wasn't impressed. I was looking at the Lloyd Rubbertite ones. Any other suggestions?

I've wondered if one for a pick-up would work if you trimmed it. Get one that fit's the wheel wells to the rear and trim off the front of it. I haven't found any heavy duty rubber mats , 1/4" - 3/8" thick, for a Blazer but there seems to be several brands & models for trucks.

I haven't got around to taking measurements though:o

I used to use a horse stall mat in my suburban. Cut/trimmed to fit around the fender humps and I ended up with a 3/4" thick rubber floor :thumb:

I have a rubber liner in my blazer from a newer burb, but i'm watching craigslist for a bedrug to cut up and use in the back of my burb. They're $$$ new, but they are sweet!

That's what Ryoken did I believe. Check this thread out: http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=216699 I'm thinking of trying it too. Those mats look heavy duty.

Which one did you buy? I was thinking that the 70's standard bed pickup one cut down would work.

The Protecta HD ones.... I just got 2 of the "universal - 72" x 98" for $95 a piece... and cut to fit, one for the cargo, and one for the front...

Did the universal already have the cutouts for the wheel wells or was it just one big square sheet? I was thinking the 73-87 CK chevy P/U one might have the wheel wells perfect but be too long. Then I could simply cut off the ends.

I think I may go this route. Despite Line-X'ing the interior, it is hell on the knees these days. And, sliding stuff on the Line-X isn't easy. I also have managed to gouge the Line-X pretty good with some sharp corners.

Sliding stuff on rubber won't be any easier methinks:wink1:

Depends on what it is. The Line-X isn't bad for hard plastic boxes, but forget it for knees, pants, or anything material. At least the rubber won't make my old body parts ache.
