DidAre ya burnin gas yet? :D
Nope, spent all day Saturday at the Dumas Wesley Walk-A-Thon, cooking for them. Fed about 175 folks. Then had to go with the wife.
Went out and got a little done Sunday afternoon between church and the youth meeting. Got the radiator in and transmission lines hooked up. Made sure the accessory drive (serpentine from a 1987) all fit right. (gotta change power steering pump, but no big deal). Probably could have busted it off to run, but I want to crank it and let it run for as long as it takes to get everything adjusted and proper.
God just didn't give me alot of patience though.

I hear ya, I had big plans for mine this weekend but got busy and never even looked at it. Sounds like good progess though, wait until it's all ready nothings worse than creating problems because of being impatient (don't ask how I know... :doah: ).

More pics! The masses demand it!:D
Is the serpentine setup just the partial one with a small serpentine belt and 2 Vbelts or is it the one big serpentine belt?
justwhatido

Full serpentine from a 1984. Pulled down, cut off the smog pump bracket. Painted black to match the block. Then added new power steering pump, A/C compressor, generator and water pump and fan assy.
I'll try to get pictures this afternoon after work.

Still have work to do. Tires, alignment
Power to seats (steering wheel rubbing fat belly)
amp meter not working, fuel guage not working
Will have to put the top on it. (soft top) Will set it up so that can completely remove it.
No tunes yet. will do that at home and not tie up garage space
ditto for lights, cb, alarm, nerf bars (so wife can climb in with out step)
But I DID DRIVE IT TO THE MUFFLER SHOP- it's strong and REALLY LOUD. But the loud part should be done this afternoon.

Might be some little stuff left (always is), but it should be there. Going to take it for shakedown this weekend. Got the notebook and pen ready.
Then correct that stuff next week and finish it out. Should be about ready by the 19th.

Bad news: have a list of about 25 things to fix or make work.
Good news: All are small things- keeps good oil pressure, temp, transmission works fine, no puddles anywhere.
Bad news- gotta drop the gas tank one more time. (color me stupid) Forgot to wire the sending unit- inopperative gas guage. Small thing, hassle to repair.
Good news- drove topless- (the truck, not my big butt), weather great yesterday.
Hope I get the pickup back before rain this weekend. Still no top on the Blazer.

New Tires. Repaired short in wiper motor (wass draining the battery), found oil leak (2nd dipstick hole in block, there was one on each side of the motor, plugged it and all is good)
Putting front driveshaft in today, mounted spare. Love the Kennesaw bumper. Still have to do guages and fix leak at speedometer cable on transmission and some small wiring stuff. But, getting there.
