We'll be down at the Island all weekend if you guys run oughtta stuff to do. Might sneak down to what's left of the west end, or just grill out and soak up the beach and sun and do a little fishin.

Mighty nice offer Fred but unfortunately I couldn't take advantage, I'm sitting at work listening to the grass grow today. :surepal:

Went out early and waded throwing the cast-net. Caught pretty good mess of mullet. Clened em and then spent the day goofing off with the kids. Then last night had friends over for dinner and boiled shrimp, potatoes and corn. Fried the Mullet along with oysters, shrimp, crab claws. Pretty good dinner.

Couple of good cold adult beverages to go with them and then off to bed so I could drive in for work this morning.

Gonna try fishing from a Kayak in the gulf this evening. This oughtta be a blast.

Have pulled two outta the sand over the weekend. Should've charged them, but it was fun doing a good turn.

We used to do that in highschool/college. Go to the beach for the weekend and make $100-$150. Paid for food/drink and took a little pocket $$ home.

Must be softening in my old age. Just can't make myself tell some guy with a problem like that it'll cost him for me to help. Somehow it doesn't seem right. Even though $50 is a heck of alot cheaper than a wrecker would be.

Did you get the 4wd problem working?

Nope, according to the tech article we have here, there should be 5 positions. The forward most and rear most being the 4WD. However the only ones I can get to engage are the middle three. I'll enjoy the truck the rest of the week and then let the transmission shop that did the rebuild of tranny and installation of milemarker kit get it right.

A lot quicker than waiting for me to have time to drop it.
