I know one pair of them are for the air bags on the side of the seat. The other plug has 3 wires. I know 1 is for power, 1 for ground, and the other one for what??? I connected the 2 and everything works well but hate not knowing where the 3rd wire goes.

These are stock 2004 Tahoe seats. Not bench.

No does nt have heated seats. The wire left over is black w/ white stripe. I think it's ground but can it have 2 for ground?

Should have forward back and one for up/down

No , the 2 wires do everything. Front/ back/ up/ down/ tilt forward/ tilt back. The lever reclines the seat back and front.

Mine had two hots and one ground. But they were from an 02 with no airbags.

I would think one wire would be for UP/FWD, the other for DN/AFT, (or whatever) and the BLK/WHT one is a ground. Both those wires are hot and ground internally of your switch. Kinda like your door lock switches. Thats what I think.

i got a set of fronts from a 99 Burb for my K5. The driver is all power and the passenger is manual but with power lumbar. How do I go about wiring this to work?? I have no idea where to start or even how it works. I know it has a harness so I guess I need the other side of the harness and wire that to a fuse or something?

Well you need to figure out which one/s is power and ground. Then you can wire them up with a 12v and ground the rest. Make sure you put a fuse at least 25-30 from the battery to the switch, closer to the battery.

To know what each wire is for you need to trial and error or look in a manual for the same year seats came out of the truck.

So it just dawned on me! Isn't the Black/White stripe wires for the seatbelt buzzer? I'm pretty sure thats what is was in the blazer before I ripped it out.

Sorry it took so long, the only thing I can think of it being, looking at the diagrams (all 20 of them) is that it's for the datalink module, I guess for the memory seat feature. Are the other two wires orange and black?

Orange and black on the passenger side and I think they were also on the drivers side. I found what 2 from the drivers side are it blew up in my face. I connected power and ground and "POP" the drivers airbag deployed. Scared the crap out of me.

Yikes:eek1: Scarie! The airbags should have yellow connectors so that anyone servicing them can tell which wires are it. I guess you found out:haha:
