Sorry to see this one too. Are you gonna stick around or have you got something else up your sleeve?

The K5 was my daily driver and my driving is going to double starting in July. So i bought this 2008 Honda Fit sport. Its brand new and should fit my driving 'needed' much better than the k5. I only wish i could stick around.

I can respect that. There's nothing saying you can't stick around for the fun though. Heck some of the mods don't even own a GM anymore.:D

If all you want is $1,500, park it and cover it. If kept up, it should appreciate in value. Then every now and then, take it out and drive it or go wheelin. Then park and cover it again.

But, no matter what, hang around here.

i would of loved to have done just that and kept it. Unfortunately i needed the money and its now SOLD. The worst part of all this is hearing every motherFU$#ing person i know tell me that i'm making the right move. That it was nothing but a money hog anyways blah blah blah. Even after just now watching it leave the driveway heading to destin i wonder if i made a decent move with the whole car purchase/selling of truck. Now, i'm stuck with monthly car payments, a higher insurance bill, and a car that has no 'fun features'. My trucks gas and insurance bill was cheaper than my car payment/ins. Now I'll have to buy gas on top of the other payments. The ONLY reason I bought this f*#$er was to put something positive on my credit and develop a positive pay history. Its just sad the low ball offers that i got and the lack of local interest. My dad told me that for him to co-sign on a new car i had to sell the truck. I nearly walked out the dealership when he told me this... The only thing that kept me there was the fact that i knew this would help with my credit and i want to own a house someday.

anyways, depressant rant is over!!

Gas is scaring a lot of people. Which the dealerships and others are taking advantage of. It will take about 6 years for you come out to the good now. I know you had other reasons but figure up what it cost you a month now vs what it would have cost you to have kept the K5.

If I had a crap load of money sitting around I'd start buying all the SUVs and 4x4s that are going so cheap.

That sucks you sold it man. Wish I had seen this sooner I would have suggested maybe getting a signature loan from the bank and using it to fix up the Blazer. Make the payments on time and it would look good on your credit report.
