1984 K5 Chevy Blazer full size. It has 124k on the speedo. The list of mods is pretty elaborate and ill try to cover as much as possible. I bought this from org. owner about 4-5 years ago. It was org. a texas truck, rust free and all orginal. Since then, ive modded it and upgraded it to my likeing. I never thought id be selling it, but like they say, **** happens. Ill start from the bottom and work up.
1) Mickey Thompson 33x 12.5 x 15 tires (approx 2000miles, if that many) on stock OEM rims 15 x 8
2) stainless steel brake lines front and new hardlines rear
3) Loc Rite locker in rear axles
4) over the last 4 years, put in new axles seals
5) chromoly upgraded axle shafts (made by Strange)
6) HD diff covers
7) 4:10 gears front and rear (yukon gears)
8) Warn gold premium front hubs (manual)
9) Custom roll bar installed
10) Dual battery kit w/ Optima batts. uses start of the art isolator *will explain operation with potential buyer
11) HOlley truck avenger carb
12) Painless wiring aux fuse panel (to run winch and off road lights)
13) Heddman headers, flowmaster muffs and catco cats (true dual exhaust)
14) Mallory distributor
15) All fluids have been recently changed, this includes tranny, Tcase, radiator, oil , front and rear diffs
16) Interior has been LINE Xd i.e. no carpet and fully protected inside
17) Heavy duty front winch bumper
18) Heavy duty rear bumper w/ tire carrier, gas can carrier and hi lift jack
19) Blaupunkt CD player
20) aftermarket gauges and tach
21) Front seats redone about a year ago and were seat covered ever since
22) Rough country 2" spring lift
23) Heavy duty shackles with greaseable bolts (helps with ride)
24) New headliner.
25) THis is silverado package (powere windows and power door locks)
26) All guages work except fac. clock, it works but time is off.
27) Truck starts and drives nicely. Ive taken it up to WV a couple times, it got about 12-14mpg for gas. It is very comfy and easy to drive.
28) New tie rod and drag link ends installed recently
29) Topper is removable (I hvent taken it off, its 300lbs. lol)
30) New door seals, new tailgate seals, also have topper seals (was going to replace if I ever took it off, but I figured being old once you removed the topper it may be hard to get it to seal up, so why not put new)
Now the bad
1) Paint is so so, its faded
2) Speedo is off by about 20mph. I have the proper speedo gears, but it requires tearing into tailhousing of tranny, not worth it for speedo to be accurate
3) Motor leaks a lil oil. It does NOT burn or use oil, jus leaks some, probably front and rear main seals, but it does not puddle. Ill put maybe 1/4 quart in every 6months (I rarely drive the truck)
The truck runs and drives nice. I have over 10k in this truck easily with upgrades, parts, maintance. all work was done by professionals, not half assed in a driveway.
Have current registration and title. Insurance is also dirt cheap on these.
Look for around 6k. OBO. I have over 10k in this truck, but thats always the case. lol.
