Funny, I was thinkin' the same thing yesterday.
It's been so oppressively hot here I haven't even wanted to look at the truck let alone drive it (still has no a/c running.:D
I did get finished with the playset for my daughter and most of the 60' of retaining wall around it. I even got some of the mulch down around it so she can use the thing.
I think I have decided to start on anouther kind of project and may have to part the K5 or sell it to feed the urge though. I'll get pics up in a day or two so ya'll can see it/them. I will only mention that the two donors are theoretically made by GM or used many parts from them. One still is and the other used to be but is now German based (or at least I think it is!). I'll just say the ignition keys look similar.:eek1:
How are things with the rest of you guys?

Things are good here. Got my rear hubs and rotors together. I have to call Kert and get some parts for the 70. Picked up another H1 wheel to replace my cracked beadlock. After I cut it down I can have all 5 tires mounted.
I have been toying with another project or two as well. What about a four door 90ish S blazer body om the K5 frame?

I think the S10 would look pretty cool! I've always liked the 2 door version with the flares and such.

Alright Ward, get some pics up and quit holding out! I've been reading and rereading your post trying to figure out what you're doing. :doah:
Things are real good here, my wife finally finished school so her Master's degree should be in the mail! :woot: She's been busting her butt forever and I'm sooooo glad she's done! Life can get back to normal now. I might even start working on the K5 again. :D

People say, "Where there's a will, there's a way." Mine goes something like, "Where there's stupid friends, alcohol, and boredom, bad things will happen to you.":haha:
And what is this business about parting the blazer Ward? I haven't even seen the damn thing in person. And I don't have money to buy stuff.:(

Well, I have to get some new tubing for the roll bar/cage, fab a rear bumper, sand and paint the body, regear, upgrade the power output and get some new shoes for it. I'll try to get pics up soon.
In the mean time, what do you guys think I could get for this...

http://coloradok5.com/photos/data/500/RF_Bumper_02.jpg
It's a '90 K5 with all the options, even powere mirrors that work like new. 1 ton axles w/ 4.10 open gears, 350, 700R4, 241 w/SYE, H.A.D. shafts front and rear, Redneck Ram hydraulic assist, ORD frame brace, custom sliders/steps, Blazenoffroad front Bumper, Warn 8274-50, ProComp lights front and rear, 39.5-15.5-16.5 Bias ply TSL's, herculined interior with carpet reinstalled, cd head unit, alarm, toolbox in bed. Unknown actual mileage and the a/c does not currently work, I think it just needs freon.
What do you guys think, honestly?:wink1:

Well, here they are.

http://coloradok5.com/photos/data/500/Hummer_Pic.jpg
If I can't afford the tube work I'll be forced to sell "Daddy's Big Truck" to build "Mary Everett's Big Truck":haha::haha: I've got to fix the battery issue woth the jeep and the hummer just needs a little body massaging and some new shoes up front. One will stay at the house and the other can go to Mimi & Papaw's house.:D
On a side note...if anybody is seriously interested in the K% I might be persuaded to sell. Otherwise it's paid for and doesn't cost much to sit where it is. Besides it's only gas.

Not good here, tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus cartilage in a fire the other day. So i'll be out of commission for 4-6 months. Just when I was ready to bolt up the doubler and start the cage. On a good note, I was able to cut the roof and windshield off today as well as cut out the dash. I love pain meds!!!

What's wrong?:D It's a good thing she wants one of her own, and they haven't cost me anything...yet.
The other day she walked up to and pointed at my boots and said "Daddy got mud! Mary Everett want mud!" It was a great moment for daddy, mommy on the other hand just shook her head and said to stay out of the house.:p:

Let's see; buying a house, selling a house, moving, getting the kids ready for school. But I did get brakes hooked up and working on the Jimmy. Now I just need to get it running again and put some shock mounts & shocks on it.
