I want to sell my 1975 GMC short bed stepside 2wd AND a Ford HP Dana60 front axle for $2000.
This truck was originally a 350 w/3 on the tree. Now it has a 292 inline 6 and a TH350,12blt w/3.73s,no cancer, original paint/interior,new 32x11.50x15 BFG all terrains on aluminum slots, fairly straight body....now for the down side...
The truck belonged to the owner of a wrecking yard,he picked it up in 1997 at an estate sale(orignial owner died)...never registered it. In 2001 he decided to run the title through the business and SALVAGE it to remove the back fees/penalties,but the truck has never been in an accident or stolen. So bottom line is it has a SALVAGE title.
Located in SoCal...Cherry Valley,92223(Beaumont/Banning area)

Dude, I am sooo tempted right now. My "74" :D  Burb just needs a motor, it runs good but has a funny knock but I just don't think it's a rod knock. I do love my burb though. Its a no rust 1/2 ton burb. I have allways wanted a step side pre runner though......hmmmmmm:thinking: I dig the fact its smog exempt too.

Honestly, I would rather just buy it but I don't have the cash and my woman would come unglued :D. I want to add to my collection of 5 trucks. I will think about it and let you know.

Lance, I sooo would want your truck but I love my burb too much to let it go. I would buy your truck but I don't have that kinda cash right now. Sorry but I just can't swing it, Sure would like to though. I'm still trying to sell my 70' chevy truck that I don't really want to sell. Just need to move it, dont have the space for it.

Good luck with selling it, hope you get what you want for it, it's a clean truck.

Does it run pretty good?? Is there ant problems with the truck?

It runs pretty good. Needs valve stem seals and the carb needs rebuilt/replaced. Would make a great 4bbl swap candidate. Still has original shocks, but other than that it does pretty good. I converted it from manual brakes to pwer disc, and from 3 on the tree to automatic...including the column and linkage.

I could definitely see my extra motor going into that but I don't have the cash or any other vehicle to trade. Very nice.

I made the mistake of giving my kid the 75 Camaro I came across so now of course I have the itch to find a street toy.

Bump... I have added ( 10/06/08 ) a Ford HP Dana60 front axle to the deal. So NOW you get the truck AND front axle for $2000. The front axle is out of a '94 F350 SRW,its a ball joint front. Complete hub to hub. I will get pics up soon.
