How much will it cost you to drive there?

The guy sounds more like a flake than a theif, but its had to judge over the 'net. I think i'd try to take Mich up on his offer. That or have him drive to meet you for a grand. But I wouldn't even get into the truck if the downpaymend did show up first. Make sure it's not a check, either.
