I have a 1988 3.4 ton suburban the has a TBI 454 with turbo 400 transmission. The vehicle runs and drives GREAT. It shows 85K miles on the odometer, and a friend of mine swears the miles are true. He said he knew the original owner who was an older man that used the truck only to pull his camper. The engine is clean and dry, and the brake pedal shows little wear, so it could be 85K original. I can't swear to that for sure though. This could make someone a very nice tow vehicle for little investment. It already has a receiver hitch, and brake controller. All of the power windows and looks work as good as I've seen for these old trucks. It has front and rear air, and the air was working with the compressor kicking in and out. I think it needs freon. The rear blower is making noise. Everything else works as it should, even the cruise control. It does need new tires, and the paint is peeling in places. The front seat is weathered and deteriorating, but other than that the interior is in pretty good condition. I am asking $1500 for the truck.
