Okay, im selling this because i need to fund my cucv desire. The trucks also has problems now i cant fix myself and id rather spend the money on the truck i really want.
First things first, im not sure what the engine is. It looks like it was rebuilt or replaced. Tranny is 700r4, shifts smoothly. Tcase is the np208, but it looks like it may need a rebuild due to it not staying in 4hi, but it works as long as you dont bounce around, then use a bungee cord haha. Axles are open 10bolts with 308s.
The body of the truck is so so. The rocker panels are gone and there are a few small holes inside the wheelwells. The floors are solid except for surface rust by the door jams where the rockers were. the doorjams have small holes though the bottom. The tailpan is mostly good with some surface rust around the edges. And theres some rust forming right below the cap on the pass side.
Now heres the bad things:
I beat the truck to hell. I mean she still runs fine but she has some issues. I would probably fix her if my friend was here to help, but hes up in college and im gonna spend the money, i want my m1028 in woodland camo.
The issues are: The mounts are all shot. At first i thought my front bumper was coming off while i was banging it around, but it turns out the body was coming off the frame. All the rubber bushings under the framerail on the pass side are rotted off, the drivers side seems intact, but replacing all mounts would be good. The engine mounts are shoot too, as is the tranny mount. The crossmember with the tranny mount is bent back after i bottomed out. Truck dosnt give me any issues on the road, but makes groaning noises while giving over bumps. Sounds like the mounts and such. Trucks also on its spare. I ripped the sidewall out on a tire and i cant find it at all, apparently the company is gone, but theyre good tires.
Thats another good thing, truck comes with 4 american racing rims.
Uh any questions ask me, ill do my best to answer. She hasnt let me down yet and im sad to sell her, but i cant see putting money into paying someone else to fix it. Id rather just pay for the truck i want. I want to see this truck go to someone who will fix/restore her and put her to good use. I dont want to see someone use it for parts and junk it or beat it to complete death. Please, anyone got a good home? Heres the pics: Any questions please ask.
