CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

Hey anyone of you guys ever frenched the gas tank on your 1st Gen K5? If so what parts did you use? and do you have any pics? I have frenched the marker lights on a 72 SB and dropped it, but never the gas tank...little diff location on the truck /forums/images/icons/smile.gif . Well let me know, just thought if I was going to french the marker lights on my 69K5, I might do the gas tank. Saw the pics in the Mag Sports Truck but didnt explain what parts he used. I saw a tricked out 2wd in a magazine a year or 2 ago, it had the gas filler behind the LS taillight, which was hinged for access, sort of like a 56 Chevy. Pretty cool....

I saw one like that but behind the rear side marker.

I have also seen photos of someones Blazer with a swing open door over the gass cap. It looked very nice too.
