Hey anyone of you guys ever frenched the gas tank on your 1st Gen K5? If so what parts did you use? and do you have any pics? I have frenched the marker lights on a 72 SB and dropped it, but never the gas tank...little diff location on the truck /forums/images/icons/smile.gif . Well let me know, just thought if I was going to french the marker lights on my 69K5, I might do the gas tank. Saw the pics in the Mag Sports Truck but didnt explain what parts he used. Thanks...DAVE

I saw a tricked out 2wd in a magazine a year or 2 ago, it had the gas filler behind the LS taillight, which was hinged for access, sort of like a 56 Chevy. Pretty cool....

Here is an article on putting it behind the side marker.

I have also seen photos of someones Blazer with a swing open door over the gass cap. It looked very nice too.
