CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

I have a 70K5 with a SM465 and NP205. I am looking to install a 700R4 and NP208. I understand the drive shafts will be the wrong length but what about a cross member mount? Can I use the stock mount or will I need to use one from another truck?

the x-members are different...i just did the reverse swap a few months ago....why would you want to swap out the manual?...if you are lookin for an overdrive why dont ya just save up for a NP4500 tranny...but if you are just tired of shifting then never mind the last question

Thanks for the info. I am in the North East. The truck is in PA. I have a 700r4. I think I have X-fer case lined up. I need a TH350 cross member.
