CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

Someone suggested a small parts swap meet on Friday, any other ideas for Friday, the only thing written in stone so far is the raffle and picnic, open to ideas.

How about Group Photos. Like First gen group or even by region or caravan or both? It feels like Friday will be mostly hanging out and mabie squezz in one trail ride? Mabie a photo by highth, ya know the tallest to the shortest? Heck I'm so excited i can't think straight!!/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

I think a group photo would be a good idea.....especially BEFORE people start breaking their trucks and can't get them into the photo....!!!

It seems like if there was a "semi-pro" photographer.....they could set us all up on a "scenic spot" near sunset, and get some amazing high quality shots of all the trucks and the people who own them.

I know that I would love to own a "real photo" to hang on my wall as a souvenir of my adventures. It could certainly be a "source of revenue" for CK5.....if a "certain someone" was to get the exclusive rights to the pics, and put them on the "Merchandise" page!!! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

A good spot would be the Dump Bump parking lot (all sand), you could take the pic from on top of the dump bump. Obviously you would not want to line up 100 rigs in a line (my pet peave) but 10 rows of 10 etc..

We could use white shoe polish on the windshield to put user names. Kind of like putting your dial in time for drag racing.

or for those in a little more permanent solution; order stickers from jeff427 with your username for the side windows. I plan on doing this with both of my k5's before too long. (does great work - and resonable rates)

the stickers and shoe polish are both really good ideas! but we are DEFINETLY gonna have to do something along those lines, i'v only met mudbogAD (cuz he's my best friend) and clintsk5 on here i've talked to a lot of you but have no idea what any of ya look like. it's gonna be awesome meeting all of you guys!

I suggested the swap and as for Friday, why don't we combine a bunch of things together so we can wheel the rest of the time?
AM- clean up your truck (Alittle show & Shine / primer and dents are now problem)/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
noon- pictures (we need a place kind of like bump dump with stair steps to fit everyone)
After pictures, have pinic / swap and raffle?
Add a couple other prizes like: Biggest dent, clean & mean, most radical, tallest, best stock, riders choice, most beat to $hit etc.
Prize??????? will all need to think about that.
We could then work it into the CK5 evening BASH!

I'd be thinkin any activities needed to start around 3-4 in the afternoon, but multiple activities seem like a good idea, but we should include prized for most damager at the end, and hardest trail ran with no damage.
