So when are all the bay area guy's hooking up to go?? I was thinking we could met the central valley guys in bakersfield or meet up with everyone in Barstow. Who else is going and what's the story?

I plan on leaving Wed (21st) morning and heading over 580 to 120 to 99 and down to Modesto. Hopefully we can meet up early Wed morning somewhere in Modesto for the people from around here. Would like to make Vegas Wed night.

I am in San Jose, should I meet up with you to go over to pick up the central valley guys? What do you think is the best plan?

If you head south and take 156 east (I think) from Hollister and meet up with us on 99 would be best for you. Talk to gokartergo and see what time he's leaving from Hollister.

i vote for EARLY (4 or 5 am) thursday, so that we get out of the bay area before traffic hits

Actually Zakk the Bay area guys were talkin about leaving Wed. morning and spending the night in Las Vegas. Then heading out Thursday morning to arrive in the afternoon so we could get our campspots and such before the events start Friday.

i should have an open seat, they are hard plastic so it might make for a long trip. they are racing bukets but they are waterproof so they are plastic. if i dont dwayne should

Hey Zakk, im just a bit south of ya in San Luis Obispo. I want to try to leave wed. nite and meet the guys in Vegas. I think Blazinaire will be following me.... maybe you wanna hook up with us ???

I would wanna go but i too would need a seat. If anyone can spare a seat im down to chip in for gas and beer money.

We will be coming through vegas on Wed. night. Well that has been the plan anyways. Did you find us a place to park? I know we were talking about it before but I didn't make it to Vegas for vacation cause I had to goto Ecuador for a month. Some of the guys want to hit the casino's and some just want to get some sleep before the next leg of the adventure to Moab.

Somewere on Hwy 15 near/in Vegas we will be stopping for the night On Wednesday the 21st. I have never been there so have no idea were we are gonna crash out. We have talked about two possabilites one, sleep behind a casino were they alow RV parking/sleeping. two,just north of vegas is supose to be a camp ground just off Hwy 15.
Do you know of any 'Rest Stops' close by Vegas on Hwy15? The goal is to stay on Hwy15 so not to add any miles to the trip. I think 950miles one way is pleanty /forums/images/icons/grin.gif Thats just for me some guys will be going well ove 1000 miles one way! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
