The run on the 21st.. I got some steel brake lines,and body bushings coming in beginning of next week.What does everyone else have for projects?

Change my rear suspension (still sittin on blocks), fix my driveshaft vibe. I doubt I'll get all that done in 2 weeks. At least I'll be able to drive out there.

Things I am trying for by the 21st:

ORD Shackle flip ( not looking likly since i was sent the wrong one today)
Weld & Bolt-in steering braces
New bumpers
redone interior
still need a spare
possible get the sliders from Toybox

i think that is it...I will be the only blazer out there leaking like a siv cuz of the rear main and front seal on the tranny. Oh well, new ones are on order/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

What do i need to do before the run?
- Wash the K/5
- Get my spares parts and trail stuff ready. (Duhh.)
- Disassemble and clean out carb.
(I think i figured out that my "popping and losing power above 4,000 rpms" is becasue of pismo sand still in my carb. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif)

/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif I have not had a spare made yet cuz I keep foolin around with the rear suspension, ride height,and pinion angle.If I get it all figured out by the 21st Im gonna get that bent one retubed.Iv got a spare front shaft already /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Rear U- joints. Preventive maintance, Hate to break them cause' I'm to lazy to change them

Want to find my vibe problem in the front end (I think it is the draglink at each end CROSS MY FINGERS and onw more passenger side sheel bearing to do then have the tires balenced and what else...Oh ya get the dam thing to run right..and last get the front window put in ( I have it in the garage but dont feel like breaking it so have to see how much to have it put in..mike

well here is my list:
Mount my 37" MTR's (i got em just need to mount em....hopfully tommorow night)
hack my fenders to fit the tires ****Finished*****
change oil ***Finished***
lengthen my vent tube on my transfer case ***Finished***
replace a power steering line
if i have time pull my yoke off the rear axle and replace the pinion seal ***Replaced it but its leaking worse that before***
pick up my spare wheel from stockton wheel (yea right!! they wont have it done)
Sounds like my water pump is goin out..so that needs to be changed
hum what else....well thats the major must do's
now the stuff i want to do befor blazer fest:
On board air
arb locker for the front
front tube winch bumper (if my friends tubing bender gets here in time)
wench will have to wait for a few months till i can build up the funds again
..i think thats all i have planned for this year...if i get all that done then ill make a new list of things to do...anyone wanna help me this weekend knock some of it out.../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Im tired of messin with my pinion angle trying to get rid of this vibe so Im just gonna break down tomorrow and order a CV shaft from High Angle.He said turn around time right now is 3 days so I should have it by next week.

i just ordered a 1 ton c-v shaft from Driveline service out of fresno..it has a 50 deg max working angle and its beefy as hell...i hope to have it by the 21st...along with the rest of the junk i got on order

*update*

new bubmpers are done, interior is torn down and will be finished this weekend.

ORD flip is looking impossible. Might try to get it all (including new shock mounts) and do it in May.

Spare is also out. not enuff $$$

Welding the rear end is looking like a possiblity...

Order and mount Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, im trying to get em in 38.5x16x15

lengthen and attach new gas neck

possibly sell truck and buy buddies 3/4 ton v10 Dodge, same lift but 36s instead of 38s

well if i do drive things i probebly WILL get done is my intake manifold and getting my XM satelite radio working.....things i WANT to have done by then is axles in top off 27 in tv in the back so we can watch off roading video's if people get bored up there.....which is very doubtful but anyway's i hope i can make it!

New Steel braided brake lines are in,and my Dad's friend took the tranny linkage to lenghen it.

Hmmm..What do I need to do before the 21st? Need a new rear diff dammit. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif For some odd reason, it won't work right with the tube pulled out of the housing.....I wonder why....;)

Just lubed up U-Joints and bushing.. Checked all fluids added T-case fluid....I'm ready...Dan

Which rig are you bringing out there? The "trail" rig or the errr......Other one? lol

The Blazer my Jimmy isn't ready yet..We should have the top end of the motor done saturday..Then it goes in for the 8 point roll cage...Dan
