Hey Wes I drove through Kansas around the Holidays and I must say that was the flatest longest drive of my life, I went like miles and miles without ever seeing anything. and then out in the middel of no where on I-70 was an adult book store on the side of the interstate! Whats up with that? Guess you guy's keep the sinners kicked out of town hu!

Yeah, some of the state is retarded. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Depends on where you are.
Ft. Riley is retarded. All we ever hear about Ft. Riley are the trouble all those guys are always in. All those guys always go to Salina and end up in the hoosegow. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
There always seems to be some "accidents" out there, too. I can't even count how many soldiers have been killed out there. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
I think Ft. Riley is what made the state retarded because all those soldiers were like juvenile delinquents. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
Yeah, good places here and there for mud. Also if you look in the right places, good hills and sand bars, too. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

Yeah, driving thru Kans-Ass has it's disappointments, thru the western parts. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
Once you get to the central part of the state and keep going eastbound, everything gets better and more to see with rolling hills after hills. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
My sister used to live 15 miles from the Colorado border in a small town called Syracuse. Now that has got to be the worst 4 hour drive from my hometown to there. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif I swear you can "sleep-drive" along the way to the town! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Ft. Riley is the sole reason I'mnot in the Army anymore. Ugh. Hated that place. I wasn't one of the ones that was always in trouble, so that kinda made me stick out. LOL. And Idont know what your talkin about it getting better as far as driving goes in the central part of the state....I've driven I-70 from the Colorado border to the Missouri border. It's all boring enuff to put ya to sleep. hehe. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Take a good look in a road atlas. You will not see any towns from the CO border to around Hays.
Once you get to Hays, small towns start popping up here and there.
The further you go east, the more and bigger towns pop up. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
