Ok so tonight (4/17) I had the experience with something That I should have seen and I did 2 nights ago. On the drivers side there is the parking break. and well it sits right against the fender. Well if I took 2 seconds to look one more time I Would have seen it. While I'm grinding. I get to thinking: HHHMMMM isn't there something I need to be checking? NNAAAhh. Luckly I only cut 1/2 the way of the cable. So off to the Phone I RAN. Its going to take 2 days to get a new cable from Kragen Auto Parts. 25 bucks. (I hope they ordered the right part.)
Eric (useyourblinker) You asked what I still had left to do before Hollister. Well this is it. Not that its going to be a big thing. BUT I know what I'm doing Friday Night.

pound that ridge flat with a 4lb. slesge or weld a pice of 16ga. steel over it to cover the sharp parts. other than that it looks good!

Cool...I'll loof forward to seeing some good pic's!!! I'm going up to the "high lakes" (outside of chico in the Sierra Nevada mountains @6500ft) the first weekend in May for a buddy of mines bachelor party. It's gonna be some INTENSE wheelin!!! We're gonna have 2 sick K5's (mine and a buddies), a toyota with a marlin crawler transfer case (@200:1 crawl ratio) and setup suspension, and a jeep that competes in the rockcrawling competitions!! So I'll be sure to take PLENTY of good pictures and I'll post em on the site....stay tuned!!!
