CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

I just picked up a first gen GMC Jimmy on Friday. It is complete minus the motor. I couldn't pass it up, so I am not really sure what year it is. I looked in the glovebox, but the lid is from a another truck. I looked in the door jam, but it doesn't say what year it is either. I do have the vin if someone could please run it on a carfax it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. No pics yet, just rolled her into my driveway. It is a gmc with two round headlights on each side. It is dark green/primer with a white top. This is my first venture into the first gen world, but I have always wanted one. I am going to yank the engine out of my 82 and make the first gen my daily driver. Now I can finally really tear into my 82 again. Thanks again for the info.
