Just a question... last time I chatted with Rene he said he wasn't gonna be able to go to BB. Has someone else taken charge and become our fearless leader... or... ?

gawd BB is gonna rock!! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

When did he say that? That will suck if Rene' can't go, but if he can't I say Mike (Heavymetal) leads the way, I think he's staying in Idaho at his dads so he might know of a campsite thats close....I dunno just a thought...

rene told me during a CK5 chat session about a month ago... surely he coulda changed his mind (or circumstances may have changed) since then, but that was the last thing I heard from him on the issue. It will suck if he can't make it... you're right about that. Either way though, someone has to be in charge of the caravan. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

lol, considering my on-road-navigation skills, I certainly shouldn't be "the man". /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I guess the 1st question would be, what PNW'er has driven down to Moab before? any1?

I don't mind taking the lead, if you don't mind a lot of u turns./forums/images/icons/smile.gif LOL My Dad lives in Pendleton, which is where we were all planning on meeting between noon and 1 pm on the 21st. I have driven as far as Twin Falls, Idaho. Usually when I take a long drive the wife navigates while I drive, I haven't gotten lost yet./forums/images/icons/wink.gif I have slacked off looking for a place to crash half way there, been busy. I will start looking again Monday, I going to be out of town for the next three days. If anyone else has knows of a good place, I'm all ears. Someone had previously mentioned a truck stop, but I don't know how that would work for people how are planning on camping in tents.
