CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

Anybody have one? Are they any good? How is the reception compared to mobile CBs?

This topic was just covered in one of the other forums.

I had a Cobra model 45 somthing, the tiny one. It worked really well, but when you were in the vehicle it would probably have worked better with an external ant.

I have a set and they seem to work well close distance but a external antenna would be a good idea.

No good. The best distance you r going to get is a mile tops. What hppens when the battery goes dead and you need to talk when you r out playin around. And the cost is to much after you pay for 1 of those you could of got a great mounted radio.
