i wish i had gone up earlier last year and been part of the show. what does it cost to enter and do you think its full yet?? i really hope to go, even if i can't be a part of the show.. i'll keep an eye out for the burbs. i saw a guy from canada last year who was driving a k30 with 44" boggers, the cool thing was had a square tube bracket welded to his rim in which slid a 2x3x50" or so piece of steel. he said it acted as a paddle when the mud got really deep.. i like those idea's that work and are homegrown. not those 1/2 ton chromed shock deals with tilting beds. nice people and all just not my cup of tea...

SM1, I hope you get alot of Burbs to go up there. You guys can tie them all together and use them in the
tug of war, that way I can have some fun dragging a few burbs around instead of just yours. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

No Sub here, just a 78 K10 (bone stock but fully restored) and a wannabe K30 (80 K20 with 1 ton gear pulling truck still in the process of being restored). My girlfriend (CK5 Noangel) and I are looking to go, she will probably want to take her new to her 88K5 (bone stock). Hope to see you guys there (I will try and wear my CK5 "Built not Bought" shirt, so hopefully anybody from the boards who sees it will say hello). I'm not sure when we are going, but will let you know.

For somebody that has been, how does one win the burnout contest? Is it he who smokes the longest, or is it by applause of the audience....?

It's suppose to be best smoke but I think the judges are bias.
the same guy won 4 years in a row and defiantly wasn't best smoke last year

SM is right, they seem to like the little Toyota. It does do a good smoke show but not the best.
I doubt he will win this year as he got disqulified last year after he won.

I see now /forums/images/icons/blush.gif
I want to go, but I'm not sure it's going to be in the cards. My girlfriend (Noangel on this site) has been on vacation and we have not seen each other in almost two weeks. She comes back Saturday afternoon and has babysitting detail on Sunday. I would definitely make the treck alone, but I don't think that will be an option (as I would be in the proverbial doghouse). I also WANT to spend time with her too.......we'll see.
