It's a full time 203 with a part time kit , but something aint right... It's all fuggered up, so I'm gonna leave the front out til I get there . I just wanna go and meet everyone, I don't care if I make it back or not LOL.....

I wussed out when the idea first came up..........it's a great concept but driving 25 hours to be in a blast furnace of heat when I can be hunting elk and deer in the woods here just didn't seem like a tough decision. For those who can take the time and do it, I salute and envy you. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

And I have always wanted to see that part of the country. My truck isn't set up for any SERIOUS rock crawling. I plan on mild trails, socializing, and site seeing. My plans have changed! I can meet you guys in Portland near I-84. I would like to leave early and go as far as we can the fisrt day. That way we don't have to go as far the next day and we can me everyone and set up camp. I would like to make the Idaho/Utah border, but I/m flexible. What would work for you guys?

getting there, thankfully I have a shop swapping my tcase in 1st thing monday morning... that'd just be to much of a headache to handle right now. ALL of my 1/2 ton stuff is off in the front, just need to get that damned 60 in there and I am set. Speaking of which, I have to get back to work... I assume I'll be wrenching WELL into the night today... so I had better get to it!

I'm not sure where that is, the airport isn't on I-84 is it? How about that pizza place we met for our first meeting. That's on I-84 I think, although I forget the exit number. I'm not that familiar with the Portland area ,just tell me where and I'll hook up with you guys. I would LIKE to be leaving Portland by 8:00 AM, then drive till we hit Ogden,Utah. According to mapquest, that is a 12 hour drive. Are you guys going to be up for that? That will leave us a 7 to 8 hour drive for the next day. The wife is looking up hotels to crashin for the night. Were you guys going to sleep in your rigs, or would you like her to check on rooms for you all?

If the rooms were cheap enough asnd if aaron might wanna go halves on a room or Jason if he makes it that might be cool what kinda price range we lookin at....I'd meet ya at the pizza place at 8:00 and 12 hr. drive will work for me as long as we can take rest breaks every so often,we Esch's have huge bladders but I would have to stretch from time to time /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif ....Shannon can you get up that early ,hehehe

The wife is looking for ones in Ogden, Utah. So far she found several around the $50 to $60 range, she is still looking for something closer to $40. I didn't even bother looking for campsites since we will only be there about 8 hours, and I can't see setting up a tent for that. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

I have both a C.B. and a cell phone, although I prefer to use the C.B.

The 40$ range sounds fine and I don't know what kinda MPG I get but I have a 31 gallon tank, so I guess about 300... /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
