The Midwest Summer K5 Thing was a small success! Thebigdaddyof2, Krazie87K5, Blueblazer62 and JeremyK5 rounded out the tally for the Summer Run. Fun was to be had by all. No major rig damage - 'cept for those darned 1/2 ton hubs 'eh Todd? /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif Mudzer wimped out on this run, complaining about 1/2 ton-itus. From the pics, it looked like I missed one heck of a good time. The Badlands truly look Badder with a group of K5's in action. Again guys, I am sorry I couldn't make it and I look forward to a full schedule of organized events starting now through next year.

Here are the pics from the Midwest Summer K5 Thing.

Hats off to Todd, Dan, Tyler and Jeremy! Thanks for carrying the torch for me.

Hey, just because I install greasy parts doesnt mean it's cobbled. I can only hope the M1008 drivetrain is Olive Drab so I can have a multi colored undercarriage! Speaking of cobbled... How have those rear body mounts held up? /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Just fine sir...with all the metal that was welded in- how could they not?
Lots of my "junkyard goodies" never get the grease, grime and filth scraped off before they get installed....except for the gasket mating surfaces!

Of course, if you attend the Midwest K5 Fall Run, you can check them out for yourself. See ya there.
