CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

Since I'm new at this game,I was looking for some input on what kind of CB and antenna I should look into for my Blazer.

need more info....
are you just gonna trail-chat or caravan chat, or do you wanna talk with the big boys across town? are you just wanting to use the AM channels (for CB) or do you want to have the upper and lower sidebands as well? do you want to pump a lot of power through your radio? etc.

then i'd say pick out a 40 ch CB that fits your price range (there are lots of opinions on brands.) 18 ft of coax, and a 102" steel whip antenna--the best for all around CBing. there are just as many opinions on antenna and mounting points too.....

I guess stay away from the new Cobras. They are made by Maxon and Kraco... I would go with a Uniden radio...
