Well as some of you may know the last time I had the Blazer out the water pump drive flange came off letting the fan go though the 5 core rad. braking the water pump of the block generally trashing any part of the cooling system, as this the 2nd time this has happened it was time to change, why it happens is open to input. The new cooling system is a alluminum rad, an electric drive water pump and f body fans. To night in testing the system the stat is opening about ever 8 min. for 2 to 3 min then shuts. outside air is about 55 in the garage or so.
