CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

the place I am camping at during the upcoming spring break is about half way between Tillamook and Sand Lake. I already plan on going to TSF to wheel... and I was thinking about spending an afternoon at sand lake later in the week. Anyway, Ive never been there... whats it like? What kinda terrain am I lookin at...i assume there is sand... but that doesnt really tell me much. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I go there atleast once a month in the summer time. there are dunes to climb and some trails. its alot of fun just remember to run low tire pressure. I run about 2-lbs when Im there.

Sand lake has some easy stuff right?? I'm not set up like the rest of you guys, so I'd have to do the woosy trails /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Anyway, think my 38x12.50's would do ok on a narrow rim with lower pressure?

Definitely has some easy stuff, actually most of it is easy till you try to run the bowls..............my K5 with the 1/2 ton stuff and open axles on All Terrains ran everything but the bowls great. It is a fun place to play at, realllllly fun. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

there is easy stuff to do and hard stuff. it depends on what you want to do. either way you will have a blast /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

i dont wanna run tooooooo low psi on my tires... i dont have a full size spare right now. co2 might be able to pop the bead back on, but I'd rather not find out. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Im 1-ton, with 39.5 TSL... what are these bowl things? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif similar to moab bath tubs?
