Dan Dycus has stepped up to the plate to help me make this years run even better than in the past. Expect more prizes and more fun at this years events.

I'm drawing a blank on the name but they make the on board welder, pull pal, and the winch rope. I would love to have a chance at one of those pull pal things for when there are no trees close by. Ryan

Premiere? I know they make an on-board welder.

Pull Pal and Premire Power Welder have been a long time supporter of our events. I will definately add them to the contact list. I have spoke to Jan Gremillion several years in a row and she has always came through.

Cool, thats them, I have always wanted a pull pal (its on the upgrade list) just got to get the essentials first strong axles, big tires, lockers, cross over, and a winch. Now that I am close to all of them its time for that and what a better way to get one than winning one or a gift certifacate for some money off. I can't wait for this run it will be my first and from what I have heard from those who have been I will love it. Have we nailed down the cost of getting in as far as the park is concerned, there was talk of dinner or something. My buddy is coming in from west virginia to ride with me and I would like to get him striaght money wise. Thanks, Ryan

The price for the weekend will be $40 to wheel all weekend. This includes a year's membership to the park which discounts any future visits. Members who have already paid will pay a discounted rate as well. This saves us some money!

I will have decals made for the event and they will cost $3-$4 each - not sure of exact price yet.

For our car show in HS, we hit up some local car washes, resturants, autoparts places, the trophie shops, print shops and local factories to donate different items. Some automotive places gave up shirts, hats, auto accessories and cleaning supplies, some other places done gift certificates for dinner and car washes, and we got the print shops to donate paper for fliers with the info on the front and sponsers on the back. I think the club put up about $100 in dash plaques and trophies (the rest were donated by the trophie place). We also hired a DJ to do the anouncements and play music for about 6 hours (if we done all the talking he cut the price in half). We spent quite a bit of time driving around and filling out all the forms at all the places. We got some t-shirts donated from a department store and we printed our own fliers, registration cards and screen printed our own t-shirts (it was the industrial arts club car show (wood shop, metals, drafting, printing, and photography areas)).
All in all we raised about $800 profit. We let a consesions guy come out and setup for free if he would make a 5-10% donation to the club after the days total sales where in.
We put alot of work into it and for it being a cloudy, overcast day with a chance of rain that was about 45degrees we had 89 cars show up not incuding the club vehicals (its was the first car show of the season). Not only that but we got a few pages in the yearbook and my truck got center stage /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif on the show notes (it was an 83 Dodge Ram (http://www.jjlaughner.com/truck/dodgeram.jpg) at the time).

A roll Cage Kit. I talked to them a while back just when they were getting the cage kit on the market. They seemed a little reluctant to help out. I talked to them about possibly becoming involved in the ColoradoK5 membership program. They said they already discounted the kit at that time and could not go any lower.

They may be interested in getting the word out though.

Maybe some free stickers for all or t-shirts with there name always need new shirts to ruin.
