Is Wheeler Lake open yet? I'm thinking about giving it a shot over spring Break. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Uh, have you seen the pictures from Denver and areas west of there? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif They just got several FEET of snow, so I wouldn't plan a trip to Wheeler Lake for at least a couple of months. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Gotta do your wheelin' in Colorado at lower altitudes this time of year. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Lots of folks I know that wheel in the summer go snowmobiling in the winter. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Some guys over at another board made it to Wheeler this past weekend. I tried TinCup, but will need 1-2 more weeks to get rid of the snow on the switchback.
