i can ship these thru overnite transportation i have a account with a 60 percent discount and they are pretty quick with deliveries and will deliver to your home.. they charge a $46 extra fee for homes. but that isnt bad if you dont have a overnite terminal close by.

Might be me but that is on the high side for a Stock 10 bolt. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

That is a pretty $hitty post! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
If you don't like the price keep your mouth shut! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
Why don't you check with your local drive line shop to see what they wil charge you to build your 10 bolt when the gov lock explodes! I think you will find that it is well over $300 and you still won't have a new rearend!
Quit trashing other peoples posts! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Nearest price I've found was 420$ for new open 10 bolt.

Not that I need one, but does the gov-loc carrier support other locker selections? I know the 14 bolt has to be an open carrier to accept a Detroit Locker.

Same thing with the 10 bolt.

not really... the 10 bolt detroit replaces the carrier. the 14 bolt uses an open carrier into which the detroit is installed.

OOps, I can't read very well. Not good for a teacher! I thought for some reason he was saying the 14 bolt carrier had to be replaced to put in an open carrier like on the 10 bolt. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifBrain Fart.

Got it in and hooked up. Thanks, runs nice and smooth for once. My wife says it's the quietest rear end I've ever had. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
I didn't know if you saw my reply in the member's area, but I saw your add in ebay a while back. You might try adding chevy 1/2 to rear end, or 10 bolt rear end, or gm 4x4 rear end . people tend to be looking under those areas more than m1009.
